This outstanding beachfront estate stretches along a stunning beach in Cabo San Lucas.

The design is contemporary and Mexican, marrying respect for Baja’s coastal ecosystem with expansive living spaces and tropical desert gardens.

The broad lot features a resort-style layout, with generously sized detached structures connected with lush gardens, natural stone paths, and open spaces. Mature palm trees provide texture and shade. The sea, pool, or gardens are visible from every room.

A large traditional palm roofed palapa for entertaining and outdoor dining sits at one side of the garden, between the pool and the sand.

The material of the structures is inviting in warm sand tones the color of the desert, wide natural wood beams, woven thatch ceilings, rounded corners, arches, and rough-hewn beams. In the evenings, the colors of the sunset fill the rooms, making them glow from within.

The broad stone floors and thick walls naturally keep the home cool in summers, and expansive glass pocket doors open up to connect the interior with the exterior.

Spacious bedroom suites offer plenty of private space.

The project was a joy to create, and allowed a great collaboration and coordination between the knowledgeable, discerning owners, and a team of leading design professionals across disciplines: architecture, engineering, construction, interior design, and landscaping.
