Perched on a rocky cliff over a private beach in Pedregal, Cabo San Lucas, Casa Clark unites innovation of design with the drama of the site. Built in 1989, this vacation home introduced a new contextual, architectural language to Pedregal and Baja. A mix of undulating curves, strong horizontal lines, warm sand tones and golden light, punctuated by a jewel blue infinity pool, the house embraces and reflects the cliffs, coastline, horizon, and sea around it.

The lineal design features generous, minimalist spaces under floating horizontal planes, respectful of and in conversation with the rock formations below. Nature is the relevant and transcendent feature.

The architectural elements adapt to the 80-meter long terrain by using inverted volume and intertwined walls placed to preserve the ocean views, while creating a welcoming, practical living space.

The construction emphasizes large windows and moving glass walls, and avoids small openings or framing that subdivides the view. The flat lines of the roof are covered in native grass or round river stones, harmoniously linking the interior with the surroundings.
